Try these hacks to share a suitcase with your partner
When you share an airline ticket, cab, hotel room, and the same food with your partner then why not share the same suitcase? If you are a seasoned traveler, then you already know how traveling becomes a breeze when you pack light.
Sharing a suitcase comes with several benefits.
You save money by not paying for overweight luggage.
Lesser clothes mean lesser confusion and you stay more organized.
Both of you can share the responsibility of ferry the luggage while walking long distances at the airport. And so on and so forth.
Now the real question arises about what is the best possible way to share luggage with your partner so that you don't end up blaming each other for the mismanagement. Here are a few tips that a couple can use to pack their stuff in one suitcase.
Planning about what you will be wearing during the trip is extremely important to pack efficiently. Many times, we tend to overpack stuff which ends up not wearing during the entire tour. Create a travel list about the places or events you are supposed to visit to pack the required clothes. For instance, if you are traveling to Goa you need more beach or casual wear than formal wear.

Invest in Packing Cubes
Packing cubes are the best solution to keep our individual stuff organized within a bag. These portable zipper containers allow you to make division within the bag to keep your stuff separately. It also makes it easier to unpack, as you can keep your dresses in one and underwear in another. And while returning from the trip, you can keep fresh and soiled clothes separately.
You can easily buy packing cubes from Amazon.
Pack Shoes Smartly
If you really need more than one pair of shoes you can put women’s shoes inside men’s shoes. Wear the bulkiest pair and put socks and other tiny stuff in the shoes you are packing.
This will help you save a lot of space.
You can also use the hotel shower cap to cover the dirty sole of your shoes while repacking them.
Toothpaste, shampoo, hairdryer, hair spray, sunscreen, and hats are some of the items which you can share during the trip. And if you are staying in a decent hotel, they will provide you soap, shampoo, body wash, lotion, dental and shaving kit.
Many times you wear your partner's hoodies and t-shirts at home; then why not while traveling? It will help you cut down on many clothes.
You can also share electronic devices. For instance, if both of you use iPhone then you can share its charger and avoid taking both the chargers. The same logic goes with laptops and wireless earphones among others.
Use Dry Cleaning Plastic
We always find dry-cleaning plastic bags lying here and there in abundance. Use them to pack shirts and dresses to keep them wrinkle-free.
